Nice fitting rugs

I need some nice rugs for my 16.3 id x tb but he is very broad in front and struggle to find a nice rug with neck cover that fits him round the chest. what do you all use.

weatherbeeta orican detach-a-neck is brill - anything wb is great !
but i really like the masta aztex 360 zip neck, fits my boy well, really big shoulder gussets which gives you a lot of room, there expensive but well worth it as overall quality is really good.

For the porky/broad one I use Weatherbeeta rugs, those are the only ones that give her enough room round the chest and are deep enough all over the body. Alternatively an Amigo or any Horseware a size up from usual.

Weatherbeeta, horseware or shires I find to be good. Have heard that premier equine are good for broader chunky types too, though haven't tested that myself.

I have a very 'stocky' lady and Premier Equine rugs fit her better than Weatherbeeta rugs.

Another vote for Weatherbeeta from me. My main winter turnout is a Weatherbeeta and will be on its 4th winter. Just washed and re waxed it and it's still in great condition.

Shires rugs might suit.

Can you borrow some different makes to try on your horse before you buy? I was able to do this when I first got my chestnut and it was really helpful. I also found out that she needed 6ft in some makes and 6ft3 in others, so it saved me from buying not only a bad fit but the wrong size.
