We sold a youngster to a girl two weeks ago and haven't heard from her since, it had been broken by CCJ and ridden for three weeks prior to sale, and behaved incredibly well the entire time.
It's always a gamble when they leave their birth home the first time, and although they people were experienced we did worry things could go wrong.
The new owner said she hasn't had a single problem, in fact last night on a ride they met a mechanical hedgetrimmer and she walked straight past happily.
I am so pleased, they should be a home for life with lots of land and other horses.
The only sad thing is she would have made a cracking event horse for C...

Thanks for your post with good news! It must be so good to know that you have found a good home for one of yours and have allowed some good people to have a special horse that they will treasure.

Tally was a lovely horse (sob) but I can't keep them all!
C has eaten a chopped up apple so if that stays down it will be the first thing in four days.. None of the horses have been ridden and she hasn't really been outside except to look at the new concrete stable base.
She has never been ill for more than a day in her life.. and is now thoroughly fed up..
When's your vetting taking place? (JHT's on holiday next week)
Oh oh, she's just been sick yet again.. I reckon a day of plain water is what's essential to stop this bug.. poor girl, it's a horrid illness, we may phone the Dr tomorrow, this has gone on long enough I think.

Poor poor CCJ.

The vetting is monday 29th, but I don't think I'll be able to go. My husband is picking his new toy up and it's a good excuse to have a day together. We are going to Preston and then coming back via x country as the car is brand new and needs breaking in!!
