Nice quality bridles for Sec D's...

Ok, so im looking for a good english leather quality bridle for my Sec D.. she comes up between Pony and Cob sizes (depending on the bridle)

She has a dainty face and a thick cob noseband looks awful.

Shes currently in Kincades finest

-and i want to keep the noseband around the same size as it looks good on her.

Happy to spend around £50-£100 so all ideas welcome please.. feel free to show pics!

Oh.. and it has to be dark brown/Havana.

My Sec D is in a Kincade bridle, they're pretty darn good considering how cheap they are. They do a lovely double bridle, the noseband is a flat hunter style one but it's not very wide at all and suits mine perfectly.

Apart from that there is a good company on ebay that will make bridles up from parts to your request - the name escapes me at the moment but I'm sure someone will know. They use scrummy English leather and you can pick bits in different sizes so it's a perfect fit. I'll try and remember the name!

I have my welsh cob in a Jeffries bridle. Quite expensive, but I have had mine about 15 years and it still in excellent nick.
I have a plain cavesson noseband, about an inch wide as it really suits his head.

both my sec D's are in Jefferies plain cavesson bridles. I dont like stitching or raised or padded or anything other than plain on Welshies.

My new boy has a really fine, pretty head with a very dished nose, but he still suits a nice, wide cavesson.

I had a really nice Barnsby Comfort Bridle (padded headpiece and noseband), with brass buckles for mine. I prefer something like that on a Welshy than a plain one, only really like plain flat nosebands on show cobs and hunters.

It's a nice looking bridle, but Sec D's should have flat, not raised noseband & browbands (if you're going to show, that is!).

I am about to PM you.
