nice ride after time off!

Pointless post went for a lovely ride today first one in 6 weeks after being ill with glandular fever. My boy (ex racer) was so good. I lunged him on Tuesday for first time and then again today for 15mins before going for a lovely hack.
He only tried to kill me once when he spotted a horse eating grid! But other than that he was fab. Especially as he has now done the route once and never on his own. And as a bonus i managed to stay dry!

Not pointless at all, it's always nice to hear happy posts on here It's been tipping it down here all day; I've chickened out of spectating at a classical clinic in favour of staying on the sofa

I love happy posts.

It's great when a good ride consists of him only trying to kill you once - it reminds me of an eventful hack I had once with with a friend (well were all still alive, so that was a successful hack, lets do it again next week ).

Haha yes faracat a successful ride for me is me remaining on his back for the whole thing! That is my aim for any ride.

Hurrah for staying in one piece! I managed to time my ride with a torrential downpour so ended up staying home.
