Nice tack shops in North Yorks?

I am going to be on holiday in North Yorks next week and was wondering if anyone could reccomend any decent tack shops? OH and son are going to a football match while we are there so I figured that it was only fair if I get to do some nosing around in tack shops

I do realise North Yorks is a big place but we will be getting out and about quite a lot and if I know where the tack shops are I can plan days out around them

I seem to remember there being a lovely old-fashioned saddlery in Helmsley, but has probably disappeared now

Don't know of a tack shop in Helmsley (though that isn't to say there isn't one!) but Rideaway is pretty big and good for a browse. We live a stone's throw from there though try not to go very often!
Otherwise there is Robinsons(?)at Malton, R & R near Selby, hmmmm, there is a nice one at Guisborough, Fox at Wetherby.......
Give in now LOL!

That's Priory Saddlery in Guisborough, and just thought of Derby House in Malton.

There's also Beevers Tack shop just outside Harrogate.....
They sometimes have some good buys in the sale room.
They are just down the road from a lovely garden centre and gardens called Harlow Carr, plus there's a Betty's Cafe and shop at the Garden Centre too - great for lovely cakes and food, although not that cheap. The Garden Centre has a great book and gift shop too...... if you like that sort of thing
