I've been recommended calling Nigel for some help with finding my daughter a pony. I can't find a website or any adverts listed so I've no idea what his prices are like. Our budget is reasonable for what we need, but I've always been wary of dealers being more expensive and we can't go over budget. Has anyone brought from Nigel? What sort of priced horses does he sell? And if anyone knows where he advertises so I can take a look I'd be most grateful. I don't want to embarrass myself or get my daughters hopes up by calling only to find that they are much more than we can afford.

Hi, don't know Nigel Wrigley and am new to this forum as well but in the past we have bought from dealers in Lincolnshire (pony) and Shropshire (horse) and have been pleased with what we got. We were nervous and didn't know how it would go etc but both times the people were helpful and friendly. Just take your time, don't be afraid to keep asking questions and remember if you have any doubts then there should be no doubt - just walk away and keep looking.

Nigel is a registered farrier so you should easlily be able to get his no from the Farriers Registration Council Website. His son in law Jonathon Alliston and his wife( Nigel's daughter) also deal and both have a good reputation in Essex. I think the horses they sell are in a range of prices, but not extremely high. They are mainly Irish horses, so nice kind genuine sorts.

Yes Nigel and son come very highly recommended from multiple sources. An Irish sort is just what we are looking for.

Highly recommended, well known locally. Have some nice horses and if they dont have what you are looking for they will find you something
