After being shod with natural balance shoes on wednesday, Sid really seemed to have improved yesterday.
Then this morning he hobbled out of his stable again...

He tends to walk it off though, so by the end of the day he comes in fine. Is it possible for a 5yo to get just that 'stiff' over night?

It could be that he is remembering that he was sore but then at the end of the day he has realised they are ok again... are you still thinking of getting a physio up to him? I may be wrong, but I doubt a five year old would come out as lame as you are describing from being stiff without something else being wrong.

Exactly what I thought!!!

He comes out of his stables doing little pigeon steps, it really does look like the problem is in his hips or something as opposed to one foot! Yesterday he walked out fine though, and was fine all day. Trotted him up in the evening and he didn't look lame at all.

Vet's coming back out monday. Definitley going to get physio out, but want to wait until Vet has checked him again!
