Niknames/pet names for your horse/pony

I have many nicknames for my horse and it made me wonder, am I alone or are there others?

I also sing to my horse, not sure if he appreciates it, but again I wonder if I am alone on this and should be locked away!

My boy is Jake
His names are:
lump
big hairy lump
Big silver lump
Sir
Sir Jake
Sir eatsa lot
jakey
jakey boy
jay-cob!!! (when being cheeky)
Mummy's baby boy (yucckky I know!)
The horse communicator said he called himself - lump.
 
Lol! I always call Henry lots of different names lol!:

My Boy is called Lenard - I tend to call him Beast though, it started when he was a yearling not sure why, he's a large horse though & a lot of people don't like him im sure Beast puts them off! or it could be his teeth.

Cracker my yearling I call Lanky.

Other yearling Poppy I call Pop Tart!

My old mare is Misfit - Mist or mizzles, god help any one who dears to call her misty!

I do sing, but I tend to make the rest of the yard join in, so I can hide how off key I am, on there birthdays!
 
My horse is called Lacey

she often gets called: Lacey locket, fatty, bitch bag, Lacey loo or bubble butt (when she is having a fat bum day!!!)

Rat bag, stellaboo, babycakes, fatty, uuugly and some very rude ones if she's having a bad day! Also donks & donkey, and dog if she's coming for walkies.
 
The shetland is called Poppy and hubby says she looks like a cow (charming ) hence Poppymoo...or Poppy- the- moo or Poptart

Cob mare is called Storm, aka Fatty Girl, Sourface, Tank

PBA gelding is called Desi - or prancing queen, gaylord ,desimondo,ladyboy, show off...on occasions his proper show name 'Hot to Trot'...as you can tell - he loves to strut his stuff and he really is mummys boy (sick making I know)

What songs do you sing?

I just sing whatever was on the radio when driving up to the yard or what is on the radio in the stable. Out hacking, whatever comes into my head, usually nursery rhymes!

hi Ethel - I did not tell the communicator his name or background at any stage. Its embarrassing, but apparently he prefers to be known as 'mummy's big lump'. Apparently, it makes him happy!

Ha ha ha a song to get past the steamy muck heap - not smells like teen spirit!?
 
Allmost all the ponies I look after seem to end up with nicknames, I can't help myself.

Beau is always called Beaujolais.
Harry gets called Bo (Harribo)
Bramble is Brambelino
Pinkie gets called Stinks or Stinker (stinky pinkie)
Preston is Winchez (as to ride he is a cross between 'Sanchez' and 'Winston')
Red is Tedwood or Teddy
Falcon is Falconnease
Cloud gets called Cloudio

I could go on...
The worst was on horrible little black mare we had called Katie and for some reason I got the name Katie C*** stuck in my head for her (long story behind this, there was a girl at Uni who had this nick name) and I had an awful time watching my mouth whenever she was in one of my lessons.
