Islay greyhound and I drove from Gloucestershire to Luton to look at a couple of rescue greyhounds who needed homes (well I drove, Islay was just a passenger....!!)

We saw a gorgeous fawn boy who was very tempting, but then I was shown a little scrawny black and white girl who was so ugly that I thought nobody would want her. So I took her home, and suddenly she became absolutely beautiful in my eyes and has always remained so :) :)

Happy gotcha day Flick, I love you very much!

I will say she does look gorgeous in that picture - she didn't quite look the same when I saw her in person, but she has always looked like that to me :) :)

She is very graceful :D

Glad you’re ok after your accident.

Another one who doesn’t think she’s ugly! I think your dogs really land on their feet when they come and live with you. X

Thank you TheresaW that is lovely of you to say that :) :)

And thank you all for your kind comments about the accident, I am feeling a bit frazzled this evening trying to sort everything out but I know that is only temporary - physically I still feel fine fortunately

Thank you CT I am absolutely fine :) I skidded on black ice and smashed my Landrover against a hedge - I am absolutely gutted, it was a T reg so quite old but a fantastic example for it's age, I won't get another like it :( :(

Can I say sod? Massive shame if it's ruined, but glad you're okay.

My mate's ex-racer greyhound has made himself very comfortable and now crawls under the duvet and puts his head on the pillow! Funny boy!

Back on the forum after a busy weekend and can't believe I missed a greyhound pic.

She is lovely, not ugly at all. Glad you're all ok.
