I must be getting old! I say petrified, I mean, I was actually aware that she is young and green. I think I might actually be starting to grow up?

Anywho, she was very good. Thought I'd just update people who 'follow' her.

O, and BH is being evil. He's been off for a month. I will check he is definitely sound on Saturday and if he is he can do some work as I am about ready to turn him into pies right now

Go nitty!! :D you will have to bring her down to hack with us so she can have a play round some fields some time.

Fingers crossed BH is sound so he stops being vile.

I was the same with stupid mare....I was definately more aware that I might break as opposed to bouncy (which I did well 15 years ago!)
What a good Nitty girl you have!

Well done to Nitty :)

And as to BH! Big Fuzzy will agree - I think yours & mine have been on box rest for around the same time?

Big Fuzzy has been toooooooo big for her shoes in the past week to 10 days as we have been doing 2 x a day walking. With vets permission I got on last weekend & have been carrying on, on board instead.
Thats been getting a bit 'hairy' too now  (but very strangely only in the afternoons!! but for some odd reason, she's been a right tit to ride after lunch ever since I've had her! )

So, after chatting with vet yesterday, BF went out in the tiny paddock today for 3 hours & was a poppet to pootle down the lane & back tonight :)
Am going to try to just keep this to 2-3 hours in the afternoons, but after jumping out of the stable on Monday early eve to join Tiny Fuzzy, we needed to do something!

(oh - and BF trotted up sound that eve & next day :) )

Hope you get BH sorted - and in the mean time - keep up the fun with Nitty

Nice one! Go Nitty... When're you hunter trialling her then? :p :D

fingers crossed for BH being sound and doing some work, though I wouldn't mind a pony burger if not! :D

Fingers crossed for BH- don't make him into pies, send him to me to gaze lovingly at as he knobs about :P

And good girl Nitty :D TB self-destruct button has been put away for a little rest we hope?!

Clever Nitty. Am very disappointed you didn't get any photos of the grown up lass

No, I am rubbish. Also, she looks insanely scruffy and someone would take offence and kick off about how abused she is or summat!

Hmm, about that. Don't tell anyone but I think we're moving away (only to Bury but still...) you'll have to hack with us instead. We'll have 'hills' :D

Did you use a mounting block to get on or are you steering clear :)

haha. I can get on from the mounting block all by myself. She doesn't even walk into it or anything. There is a nice clump of Nitty hair and blood left on it though. Yuck! :D

It's since I did my knee. I seem to have finally realised that I don't bounce these days! Especially not off the concrete

Well done to Nitty :)

Bad BH has been allowed out into a littleish field for a week now. And he is still being an absolute git!  Really pleased BF is sound but naughty, naughty jumping the door

When you bring Fergs to jump the blue pipes ;) I'll probably try and go to stressage in a couple of months if that counts?

God, I really, really hope so. But I won't get too excited just yet. She'll probably be hopping lame by tomorrow as she doesn't have any shoes on and she was marching along/jogging the whole way!

Stressage only counts if you jump the boards on the way in / out :p :D

Is that a specific set of blue pipes you had in mind? :D 'cos I have done some before:

I can probably manage that. Nitty doesn't really like the school or walking much. She mostly wants to canter

And you know which blue pipes I mean!! I will meet you at Tina's with my Nitty pony for some blue pipe jumping. I really will, if you can wait until September time when we might just about be ready to potter around some of the smaller stuff/have a look at the water/just pootle about

You mean the massive blue pipes  Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

But I would defo love to meet you up there - we might even manage to be grown up and give you a lead over some little things :p Fergs does water, ditches, drops etc ok normally, just the actual jumps can be a bit speshul

Nitty has the right idea. Trot is boooooring :D

:mad::( Your leaving!! But we actually have hills out the back of where knobbert is :D there great for fittness work and bigger than the ones we found in essex ;). So you will have to bring her when she is ready to have a bit of an explore it would be a nice first outing before her stressage debut .

Ah, Nitty already has pony play dates. That's nice.

Right you lot, Ely at the end of the summer and Lolo can ride BH as he'll be going spare. Fergs will be jumping blue pipes, Rob will be on 2 foot log duty and BH has to get his toes wet. I will just try not to get tanked off with!
