HAd lorry advertised just over a week now and had only one call and they said would call back and never did. Am I being impatient or is stuff just strugglling to sell at the moment? Its only a cheap lorry (under £5k, just reduced price on advert on horsemart too).
Anyone know anybody looking for a super reliable lorry for not much money?!?!

join the club and I have been trying to sell mine for months, dropping the price all the time to now it is at really low but no one seems interested. Following on from advice on here I am going to Ebay it, been meanign to last 2 nights actually. Will put starting price of lowest I will accept and see what happens, apparently people on here have listed it, it doesn't sell but you get several responses and it normally sells soon after the listing ends! Worth a try for me as been trying to sell for so long (only one person has even come look at it and he said he was interested and was going to send mechanic for look over then never got back to me which I think is personally rather rude, a thanks but no thanks would have been easy enough!).

It was a reasonably expensive lorry to start with - but I guess 20% wasn't too bad in the end (though our buyers turned into a bit of a nightmare after they took it away, trashed it getting it stuck in the mud at a showground and then tried to insist the damage was done before they bought it - despite the fact it was caked in mud and clods of grass to it's axles). All sorted now - fingers crossed but I don't envy anyone trying to sell anything right now.

Oh dear, it is as I feared then. others struggling too! HAd promised my parking space at yard (only limited parking on concrete) to someone, might have to retract the offer!
I am happy to keep using her as she has been an absolutely fabulous lorry, but OH is keen to sell now we only have one horse competing! Just put 13 month plate on so no rush I suppose.
Had hoped that because of tough times financially the cheaper to buy lorries would go quicker but maybe not!
Had 3 people come to look via word of mouth, one not really serious about buying at all - she loved it but husband said no to a lorry full stop, another who needed oney from parents and hasn't done her lorry test yet so is going to get back to me and third who is on here can vouch for how lovely my lorry is I hope?

But needs to sell the one she has first!

It took us 2 months to sell our 5 tonne lorry and we had to drop it by about 20% we finally sold it 2 weeks ago after we displayed it for sale at the PC Area SJ Qualifier (our PC held it). If there are any big events near you ask permission of the landowner and organiser and park it up with a forsale sign on it, worked for us and didnt cost a penny.

Got a for sale sign for the window, and out competing virtually every weekend at the moment! So hopefully, someone will see her!

Hi - what size lorries are you trying to sell? My friend is looking for something under 3.5 tonnes and everything she calls about is already sold! She's getting desperate for transport!

Think we are all trying to sell 7.5t ones, the 3.5t certainly sell quickly at the moment - a friend of mine sold hers for twice what she paid for it!

I'm desperate for a 3.5 T. The thing is I don't have a huge budget as I can't buy until I sell my trailer...which isn't selling! Its immaculate and has hardly been used so I can't keep dropping the price as its also taking away from my lorry funds.

I want a side loading, rear facing box with enough headroom for a 16.3hh and everything under £9k like that is always sold when I call!

Oh dear we sold our old bedford a few months ago for much more than it was worth and a man phoned today asking if it was still for sale. I should have given him some of your numbers! It was advertised on horse deals if that helps anyone.

I'm looking to upgrade to a 7.5ton and sell my 6ton so if you want to send me details by e-mail please feel free and vice versa if you are looking for a fantastic 6ton

Tiffany - I will PM you, not loking for a 6 ton though I am afraid!
Robinhood, can I ask how much you sold yours for? Just trying to check I am about right on price!

Those who PM-ed me - thanks for your interest - I have replied to your message and hope you got my reply?
