Hi Everyone,
We have had our 3 year old bitch mated twice by different dogs from the same reputable kennel but she has failed to get pregnant.
We paid a stud fee for the first mating, there was no charge for the second one.
As we would really like her to have pups, has anyone any suggestions besides trying a different kennel?

Stud fee should also be on the same terms as with horses, you only pay kennel fee's and other charges but not actually the stud fee until they're scanned in pup/foal.

How many times did they tie on each occasion?
 
On the last occasion she was mated 3 times over 6 days but the owner of the stud said it was "a bit of a struggle", so we had our doubts from the start.
 
What did 'a bit of a struggle' mean? When mated did they actually tie? If so how long? Are the dogs proven? 6 days seems quite a distance. Usually they'd be mated twice say a Saturday and then a Monday between the 12th and 14th day of being on heat.
