No rinse dog shampoo

Hi, I don't come in here very often!

But I was wondering if anyone had used no-rinse dog shampoo? I've just bought some of the Groomi stuff for my dad as a stocking filler/not main gift type christmas present and now obviously fretting it's going to be a waste of money or at worse hurt the dogs' skin?

It's for an shih tzu/staffy cross with a medium length rather wiry coat and a carpathian shepherd who is double coated.

Will it be okay?

I’ve never used a leave in shampoo ..my poodle gets bathed regularly in Pantene ( leaves the coats in wonderful condition)but it takes time to dry dog and brush etc..

so...what about a dog brush and for the breeds you mention and a dog rake to get the undercoat out of the dog...
The site below is an example of products..useful to refer to when choosing which blade number to buy...note there are no cutting bades( like furminators). Just teeth referred to as “ blades”...

(We have a 10 and a 20* blade tool)
we use this * for our schnauzer,s legs( rest of her is stripped) ..my cat owning friends love this too..one fellow in the market asked advice for his long haired cat who hates being combed and has mats...he ordered a 10 “ blade” ,shedding rake and said cat now comes running to be groomed.
My other success was my neighbors dog...a huge hairy white beast ,who has a yellow strip of rough hair down his spine...he used the shedding tools too and the dog is snow white again and doesn’t shed around the house..they are thrilled to bits ,as they have recently had twins ( human) and they say dog is welcome indoors now it doesn’t free shed.

I have a croci Shedding tool..this is the ten blade..probably fine for both yr breeds..cheaper than the Mars..I paid twelve euros..
i use a twenty on the legs.

It’s funny you should ask this now. I’ve been using a lavender wash for horses in the warm water I use to wash off my dog after a muddy outing. It’s supposed to be slightly antiseptic and soothing too. I wondered if there was a dog version and was going to ask. Definitely makes his feet less pongy.
