After a good hoolie about yesterday with teenage daughter on bareback ponies, I find myself practically unable to walk!
I'd like to think I have an independent seat, and don't rely on my stirrups unduly. I sit a trot more often than I rise, (and have no problem rising bareback if trot gets bouncy). So why does an hour or so with no saddle leave me half-crippled?
Am I just getting old? Anyone else over 40 still do it?
