Hello,
A friend came down to see my 5.5 yr old welsh sec D today and said she was still bum high. Some one else also said it and i often look at her and it does look like it. But then some one else said she just had no topline and then some one else said she just looks fine. My friend has a pony the same age and his back and bum and withers are just one straight line. What do you think it is?
Thankyou

Sorry forgot to put them on!

Not bum high at all, and if your friend's pony has withers, back and bum in a straight line then their pony has funny conformation, not yours!

id love to say she was pregnant but unfortunatly she has just been eating grass all day! Thankyou for comments i feel better now!

Looks ok to me, if it was straight from bum to withers then I would say there was a problem, but I'm no expert either, I would say she is fine though to look at.

Doesn't look bum high to me either - just looks a really good doer as most Welshie's seem to be. Perhaps a bit more work to get her abs up and girth down (well if you're lucky, doesn't seem to matter how much my daughter puts hers thru, she just keeps putting weight on LOL). She's lovely, just have fun.

Normal looking 5 yo doing light work. You should see pics of my NF when she was that age....all puppy fat and belly. Taken 2 years to get muscle tone on through work...nice and easy does it for years of fun to go.
