Non- Alfalfa based Ulcer supplement

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a supplement for ulcers that does not contain alfalfa, as my horse is allergic to it? I was interested in both the Protexin Acid Ease and Science Supplement Gastro Kind as have heard great things about them but sadly include it in their ingredients.

Grazing is limited at the moment due to the weather but he does have adlib hay - just want something to keep gut healthy and control acidity.

I've been using Equibiome's Prebiotic for my alfalfa sensitive one

RonFields ULC30ex. My EMS horse can get a very sensitive tummy in summer due to sugars in the grass and I use this as a preventive measure. No alfalfa and it has always settled him down.

No I haven't. But did think about it. The length of time it would take put me off, so I cracked on with the prebiotic instead. It does do a good job

This is a really good supplement it would be my go to for ulcers
