Does anyone know of any decent jumping saddles which aren't flat seated? Haviong not been able to jump george in a long time I have been spoiled by my isabelle dressage and am now finding jumping saddles very difficult to ride in! as we have started jumping again i've had to get on with a gp rather than a jumping as no matter how hard i try I cannot seem to get on with jumping saddles and there flat seats!

I have the opposite problem- deep seated dressage saddles and my heels go awry.

Friend has a jeffries jumping saddle which isn't what I would call flat but not sure if it would be 'deep' as such. Good luck finding something.

must admit i've seen pictures of the albion k2 and thought the shape of it looked very to my taste and not too flat! for some reason i cannot get on with flat seated saddles however comfy they look! I seem to find myself shuffling and feeling like im about to go out the back door although that may well be my riding i guess! My problem is im 5'2 and the saddles that fit my horses are 17in so combined with a flat seat thats rather a large space for a small person to move about in and very often knee rolls may as well not be there as due to my height and the seat size i very rarely come into contact with them! well, the search for something perfect still goes on!

Try a Bates Close Contact, very comfortable & the knee blocks can be moved to how you want them. They're attached with velcro so you can get them just right. Of course the saddle also has an adjustable gullet so should be able to fit any horse.

TBH, ive got the Bates Momentum which is flat seated to sit on, but is incredibly comfortable and IMO is very secure, but I had a K2 befiore and found it too restricive on my horse. It goes down to what you like TBH, but the bates are fab saddles and are very adjustrable to fit you too which is always a bonus!
