I am not looking forward to it - don't have kids but it means my drive to work increases somewhat. It's blissfully peaceful driving to work through the summer when the kids are off!

Are you counting weekends?
Counting weekends I've got 18 days til they go back but the downside of that is I also go back to work then.

8 weeks vacation is a long time. My daughter can't wait to get back, she's counting down the days.
Downside is that she'll have to get up at 6.30 again rather than 10, my child is NOT a morning person.
It makes no difference to me, the bus collects and deposits at the end of the drive but I don't envy the 2 hours travelling she does every day
