But when you are driving surely you ARE looking out for cyclists and the like. I dont think it works to make the point its trying to make as when you are driving you are scanning and not concentrating on one individual thing... ie the ball. No?
I cover over 30,000 business miles a year in a car. I have also been a regular motorcyclist since I was 16 (over 30 years).
Most drivers see their phone, CD / MP3 / head unit, hair or makeup in the drivers mirror (male and female) and possibly the end of their bonnet.
On the rare occasions that they actually see the cars around them, they assume they are on a racing track (male and female) and try to cut them up with a manoeuvre that is actually banned on the race track (I raced single seaters for six years too).
I ddnt see it but I was busy counting the throws. When I'm driving I'm aware of the road, other drivers and other road users including cyclists, walkers and horses. When you drive u dont just focus on one thing or you would crash very quickly!!
