Well having been single for some time I am obviously not adept to the art of modern dating!

Now being 33, I dont think I am too out of the race, but why is it that most men I seem to meet or start chatting to always mention sex before I have been on a date with them!!!!

Is it too much to ask for a man to like you, want to take you for dinner, go on a few dates to get to know each other before the topic of extra curicular activities is mentioned????

Argh! Looks like it is going to be just me, my girl and my moggies forever! (makes for a peaceful time though :) )

:D:D Do you want my ex husband's number? Lovely chap. Likes cats. Tolerant of horses, prepared to muck out/feed/drive lorry if asked nicely.

I'm in the boat with you too! I've come to the conclusion that men are just horrid creatures and it looks like im going to be single FOREVER at this rate! :rolleyes:

Everytime I date and dump a ***** bloke I end up buying new rugs :( In fact it got so bad recently I ended up buying a new horse :D
 
Im confused as to what women want... what do you want from us blokes??? because it dosent seem a nice easy going fella is what's wanted !!!seems its its ether money for horses or a charmer that treats women like a door mat and is violent when drunk ,
I get on great with my women friends but finding a partner seems an imposible task seem to end up with bonkers the mad woman, dont do the gold diggers are they a better bet ??
anwers please... 40 something male own horses, lorry, house but not much hair....:D

Its amazing isnt it how women will stampede over us to get to a real rat. I have never understood this.
 
Believe me they are out there... they are just rare!! I have had the idiots and the men who just didnt that the animals are as important to me as people.

I now have an amazing man, has his own horses, loves animals(hence me having 3 dogs and a cat :p) drives the lorry, is understanding, hygenic, dresses smartly, looks great in breeches, suit, jeans whatever and is STRAIGHT!!!!

But im keeping him so you will have to find your own :p:p:p

It's always amazed me too - most women seem to have a wish list that has on it all the things that make men most inclined to be rats. My husband is kind and easy going with a great sense of humour and living with him is comfortable. OK he's no great beauty but you know what? When he smiles at me he's the most gorgeous man in the world and because he's a kind easy going man and we make each other happy he smiles at me a whole lot of the time.

Aw, how nice is that to read :) It is a bit of a minefield dating in your 30's but after sifting through all the ones that aren't right for me, the way I see it is one day i'm owed a bloody good one! :D

how big is it................as in how much pay load on the lorry, my girl is quite big and i have to be careful about going over the pay load! :)
 
Well im newly (6 weeks) single was with my ex for nearly 10yrs, im now 24. But i feel like i dont have a clue a few "mates" have asked me out on dates but to soon yet, and not into them like that.
BUT what if i find someone i do like, how on earth do i go about asking them out, then the date, kissing, and nookie. ohh its much to bear, i think im going to be nun, i dont have to deal with it then!
 
OP, maybe you're looking in the wrong places? Also in my experience, Mr Right Now can frequently turn into Mr Right given time ;)

7.5tone and can carry 2000kg :D

Ha ha I qualify on most of those if you delete lorry and insert 4x4 and trailer, wouldn't call myself amazing, but capable of astonishing....would that do lol

They are out there....I`ve been out with some right dicks!!!!
Now i`m with the perfect guy for me!!! Granted his mam and my mam set us up :o the shame but he is fab...
We both love horses, he bought him a horse and me a horse. We both love dogs,I`ve got 3 (they live with my mum) he had 3 he now has 4 because he bought me a new pup...both love surfing, going for walks, he`s hot, really really amazing and sweet and he washes lol he`s got a good job, is level headed, doesnt go out the lash every weekend and perv on other woman constantly and he mucks out, goes travelling for hay and straw and puts up with my PMT :) he`s my number 1.
There is a mr/mis right out there for everyone it just takes time and they tend to come along when you least expect it....

Lack of hair isn't a problem - but agree size does matter ........... so if you are around 6ft we could be a perfect match :D

ps - not bonkers or gold prospector!!

I think part of your problem is highlighted in your post:

You only tell us what you 'own', horses, lorry, house - attracting gold diggers

& what you don't have - hair, desire to be a rodent, fist happy;-).

Why don't you tell us about you & what you are looking for.

Also, most women won't want to risk a good friendship, especially one with a bloke as they are so hard to come by. Whereas love interests tend to come & go, friends are forever.
 
Its not easy is it?! I'm only about to turn 24 but seem to have chosen a right couple of t**ts! already. Looking back i can see the mistakes i made, seemingly i was attracted to very good looking arrogant men who only cared about (one of them actually said this to me) sex, fast cars and money. Was obviously very young and naive and my heart was broken when they went off with other girls.

So been completely single for 2yrs or so now taken me this long to get a grip of it, now looking for older more mature person who does actually care about other peoples feelings, we shall see i guess..x
 
I'm 20 and already have this problem... doesn't look good for the future. Mainly because I refuse (even when I was well) to go out and get ***** faced every weekend. I just want someone nice, funny and trustworthy... is that really so difficult?!
