I went there on the weekend...WOW it was lovely!!! The open rooftop pool was amazing!! Was tipping down with rain but it didnt matter coz we were relaxing in lovely hot natural bubbling spring water, our heads were getting wet but it was weird being so warm in the water when there was freezing wind blowing in your face!! The minerva pool was even hotter...i would well reccomend it. so relaxing!!! ...anyone else been???

I have! But I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. I mean, it was nice, but I wouldn't be fussed to go again... Mediocre is how I'd describe it....
 
i was bought a day spa and all the whistle and bells package as a pressie last christmas, it took me nearly a year before i could actually get the treatments, i had also bought my mum the same package so we could spend the day together, we both had to organise a day stay away the night and in the morning they called to say it was cancelled as there was a girl off sick!!! I was FURIOUS and told them that i WOULD be coming in and THEY BETTER HAVE SOMEONE IN!!
Funnily enough they 'sorted ' it especially when i threatened them with them paying for my travel and my mums hotel room!!
So it was lovely but i am not sure it was worth the hastle.
 
As a local resident, I was very sceptical about the whole thing, as we have all "Paid Our Bit" for it... However myself, my sister and my mum were all lucky enough to have voucher for christmas last year so we booked up. We had he Therma Taster, this included a 2 hour spa session, back neck and sholder massage and a reviver facial and you got the use of the robe, slippers and towels thown in (normally £9, bit of a con, and hte only one in my opinion) Do book in advance, the best days to go are mon-weds, as later in the week and weekends are so busy..
I was very impressed by it, the Minerva bath on the ground floor was lovely and the scent that was given out was so realxing, as was the steam rooms. I have been to a couple of Health farms and have loved them, and was equally impressed with the Therma Spa, and would go again.
