Right well I am part of a promotional agency but all the work is in the big cities (London/Leeds/Manchester etc) and by the time I pay for travel I would have spent nearly all my wages so its not worth it..
However, its something Id love to get into so recently have been looking into it more. I have applied for a photoshoot to advertise a car company website and I thought about contacting local businesses that may want promotions?
I also love photography/graphics etc so got thinking and wondered whether it would be possible to do a sort of promotions/advertising business? I think to do web design you need qual that are hard to get.. I've looked on the internet about web design and seems like you need to go to uni to get the degrees which I dont want to do but not sure if there's another way into it?
Does anyone think that people would be interested in this sort of thing?
If you google it theres an awful lot of promotions agencies which makes me think that there must be a want/need for promotional girls but I am suprised to be honest. Im not just talking about urrmm suggestive pictures with cars etc I also mean promoting companies at trade shows, handing out leaflets etc.
