Non rustle/crackly waterproof trousers or overtrousers? Where?

Where can I buy some non rustle/non crackly/quiet but waterproof trousers or overtrousers please? Any recommendations. Also if they are breathable that would be even better.

I've just picked up some toggi extreme waterproof trousers off ebay and they seem pretty quiet. I bought them with backing the youngsters in mind!

I had a pair of waxed cotton chaps with suede strappings. No flapping, rustling and plenty of grip which nylon overtrousers definitely don't give you!

Nice sticky bottom and warm and dry. They do a thermal pair as well but I didn't get cold in those days as too busy. Might try them this year though

I have Toggi ones that are quiet. They are also too big and too long, apart from that, they're great

Thank you all - I will look at all the suggestions, I like the look of the Mountain horse ones, but Toggi sound good too. I bet most will be too long for me, as I'm only 5'1" - so perhaps childrens length is more suited but I would struggle to get them round my legs!

If anyone knows of good qulaity over trousers that come in 'short' I would ove to know. They all seem to be for people with long legs!

Mandy - I had a browse on the Millets website and will possibly try and get into one of their shops to see. But they had quite a few in "short" sizes, so hoping that they might be short enough for me too? What height are you - inside leg measurement? Think mines about 28" which is pretty short!
Let me know if you find any please? Likewise I will too.
