non slip saddle pads

which is the best non slip saddle pad? my horse has a back like a barrel, no withers and my saddle keeps slipping side to side and its driving me nuts! (had new saddle fitted about 4 months ago)

was thinking about getting either a limpet saddle pad or a prolite saddle stay pad, are either of these any good?

and while we're here i need a new girth too, any suggestions?

I have the limpet for showing as it can be cut to size. Don't no it if stops slipping as my horse's saddle doesn't slip round. But I do like it.

I used to use the airform GP girth attached old girth and found that his saddle would slip. My horse is barrel shapped with no withers. Changd to a new girth and his saddle no longer slips.

I use the prolite saddle stay pads under my numnahs /saddle pads.

My warmbloods saddle used to slip terribly , it never slips at all now.

have decided i'll get the limpet, having discussed it with everyone i could out the yard tonight they all said they were brill.

and thanks for the girth suggestion, was looking at them will try one out i thinks...

now where's me OHs credit card...

I found the prolite pad good but the limpet was useless. It was too thick so filled up all the saddle shaping and the whole lot just rolled. It was a really weird shape as well even when I trimmed it as best I could. Obviously meant for a big horse.
