Noonie lump...

I'll answer but have no idea what it could be?
Is she grey? In which case it could well be a melanoma (does look like ones I've seen before), but I'm not well up on them! Fingers crossed its something innocuous, let us know what the vet says.

x x

Doesn't look like a melanoma to me, looks like an injury to the internal soft tissue (my mare has had this)

Is it actually a separate lump or is it part of tissue?

Fingers x it isn't then!

Is it causing any issues to her? My mare got attacked in the field by a dominant mare- had another hole ripped if you get my drift and has been left with some scar tissue and a small extra hole! Doesn't cause her any bother although can be irritated whilst travelling when she sits on the wall.

I only noticed it last night... doesn't seem to bother her at all.

thank you

Surely its her clitoris! My mare looked exactly the same and when she got bitten by another horse it swelled up to the size and colour of a plum :(

anyhoo, Typically it went down yesterday, and the vet took a look this morning as was slightly there still and agree she may have been getting 'freaky' with the wall, most likely period pains, my old mare used to do this but had never seen her do this, so you were most likely right Dianchi.
