Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone can advise me where I can buy bulk meat for dogs as butchers and supermarkets are too expensive. I found a supplier in Ipswich that delivers but I found him unreliable and had to keep chasing my order for 3 weeks. When it finally arrived he turned up unanounced and I had no idea he was coming that day. Some meat had defrosted and others were frozen in 15kg lumps.
My chest freezer is now empty and needs filling, the packs sold in pet shops are not as cost effective.

I have found other suppliers but they do not deliver to Norfolk. I have spoken to butchers/abbotoirs but keep getting told because of all the rules and regs in place they cannot help me.

I want chicken, beef lamb etc and does not have to be human food grade. Chicken carcasses, wings, rabbits. Carcarsses and green tripe. It seems that green tripe is not allowed to be handled by local butchers anymore.

I was wondering if you knew of any where and wondered where hunt kennels get their meat from.
Thanks for any answers in advance.

I think Bowes is now Cranwich Foods, there is also prize choice just down the road from the Cranwich factory. I've just had a delivery from manifold valley meats and I think they come this way once a month, haven't started feeding it yet so can't comment on quality, I ordered 36lb of various minces and it cost £24.75 plus delivery.

Thanks for your replies I will contact those companies. I could ask Mr Tesco for his Horse burgers and hide the evidence lol.

I dont want to use The Dog food company anymore as they are unreliable. :(

I was hoping to get lots of minces and green tripe.
