Norfolk/suffolk People - Riding clubs/show centres

I'm still sort of new to the area and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good riding club near to Thetford? I've tried looking up places on the internet but as I don't really know where a lot of places are or the names of areas it is difficult.
As for show centres we managed the Jays so far and wont be back there for showing and the ILPH which seems like a good venue and is easy to get to. I have been up to Overa Farm and am lucky that the Endurance rides often go out of Euston Hall which is where I keep Mr T. Any others close by that people recommend?

The is a new centre opening soon near stonham aspen (sp) which sounds like it will be fantastic. The jays are putting down a new warm up area and it will soon be loads better. There is always Newton Hall and Wix too

Was hoping you would see this. Interesting. I went to Elvedon with Murphy over Christmas and was thinking of taking Mr T there to see what he thought, after jumping out of his field the other night we are rather hoping he'll jump ridden as well! Its really weird having a youngster again and progress has been slow. But we're getting there. I'm doing the pleasure ride in February at Euston to see how he copes with lots of horses ridden before attempting anything else and we may do some Dressage *shudders afterwards. Walk trot test sound quite good for a start just to see if he behaves as he is quite 'special' sometimes!

Last year all their shows were at the ILPH but I think they may use Overa as well this year.

Queach farm is near by to you if you want to do dressage. As for riding clubs, St. Edmunds (based near Cockfield - other side of Bury to you) or Worlington, based at Fordham. Both have a vaiety of comps. Worlington have a website but also put all of their stuff on Horsdates. Also there is Thurston and District (showground at Tostock). PM me if you want more details.

What was Elveden like? The last time I went a lot of the jumps were roped off or overgrown.... that was August last year. I complained but still got charged full wacko.
