North Devon advice please

Hi, I am mostly a lurker these days, so sorry if you don't have a clue who I am, but I would really appreciate some help

My OH and I are planning to move to North Devon soon, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Specifically the area between Barnstable, Exmoor and the North Coast. I know the lanes are not usually suitable for hacking as they can be very narrow, so would like to know where is good for riding, other than Exmoor? And does anyone have any experience of yards in that area? Negative comments by PM only please…

Hi and welcome to the Wild West! Firstly make sure you have proper waterproofs and as for the roads, I find the traffic is no problem and in fact they are much more considerate in the narrow lanes, good luck.

Coxleigh barton, mullacott and Codden hill are the bigger yards in the area, all have good reputations, welcome in advance
