I am aware that there are some rumours circulating about 18 stolen
horses from our area. The truth is that recently, 13 horses were seized
from some travellers in Wales and taken to a rescue centre in our area.
Over the weekend the travellers who owned the horses went to the rescue
centre and took the horses without permission and also 4 other horses
that were previously taken from them at an earlier date.
Please be assured we have had not recent horse thefts in our area.
