Police are putting on show recovered saddles and other riding tack and are inviting anyone who has had such equipment stolen to attend the viewings.
On October 12, officers recovered a large quantity of leather saddles and other riding tack, believed stolen, from the Lower Ecton Lane area of Northampton. Whilst some of the equipment has been returned to the rightful owners, there are some still some outstanding items that Police are keen to reunite with owners.
Officers have 26 saddles and other riding tack and these will be put on display at Towcester Police Station between 10am and midday on Tuesday December 14 and between the same times on Thursday December 16.
Countryside Liaison Officer, PC Glynne Malkin, from Northamptonshire Police, said: "Anyone who has had saddles or other tack stolen is invited to attend the viewings with no prior appointment necessary.
"The items were recovered by officers on October 12 so will have been stolen in burglaries or thefts before then, so anyone who had items stolen before October 12 is encouraged to turn up at Towcester Police Station on the mornings of December 14 or 16
