Has anyone ever ridden here? What was it like?

Am considering a trek with them while I holiday in the area. Lovely looking place but hard to find reviews for them on the internet.

Other suggestions of trekking/riding centres near Derby very welcome :)

Thanks in advance - Marsbars for all :D

Hi, I went there a few weeks ago! I have my own horse but OH is learning and fancied a ride out so we went for an hours hack together, the 2hr hack is supposed to be much more fun as its quite rough terrain

Horses are all home produced and the one I rode was gorgeous, she sends most of them off to Reaseheath over the winter so they are all well schooled and responsive.

Have fun

xx

btw - it's in Flash Derbyshire not Derby ;)

I have ridden there, a group of us went from work, a handful of us could ride and the rest were complete beginners, we all had a fantastic time.

We went on the 2hour hack, the terrain is definetely more rugged, I certainly had a few eye closing moments, you have to place all your trust in the horse!

The four of us were also able to go for a couple of really good canters, the rest of our group were able to watch while they ambled along the higher ground.

The yard looks a bit tumble down, but the people are lovely and the horses are in excellent condition.

would recommend them for both beginners and experienced riders!

Fantastic Place, lovely, friendly, well looked after horses. the yard is untidy and rough round the edges, but none of that matters if you have a blast on a horse you can trust and is well looked after. Definitely reccomend it :D
