Norton de Rhuys, the famous partner of Roger-Yves Bost died on Sunday at the age of 28. Among their many successes were a Team Gold Medal at WEG in 1990, 4th place in the World Cup Final in 1990 and 3rd in 1991, World Cup Grand Prix wins in Berlin in 1988, Bordeaux in 1990 & 1992 and Dortmund in 1991, the Olympia Grand Prix in 1991, the Swiss Life Classic in Zurich in 1990 and the Stuttgart Masters in 1990 & 1991. The chestnut gelding was given to the rider by his aunt. He described the horse as his faithful friend.
