Nose net, fly veil or both?

I posted a few days ago about my new horse being particularly irritated by flies. It was suggested I get a fly veil but now I'm wondering whether I should get a nose net or even both.
I've just come back from a very unrelaxing hack where because of a few flies, he tucked his head between his knees most of the way and flung his head about.
This has only happened over the last week or so and was previously very laid back while out on hacks. Just wondering what I should buy, any advice most welcome.

You can get both combined in one item. Some horses find veils just as iritatiing as they can tickle too. If he was enough forlock maybe try just the nose net. it just hinges on pinning down where it is acctually bothering him

You can get a combo for in the field or you can get a nose net from equilibrium for riding out in.

Thanks, I might try the nose net first and see how we get on with that.

Nose nets are miracles to me. Some are quite expensive though but I got mine for about £2 from aerborn

Bought a nose net this afternoon. I can't wait to try it out tomorrow!
