Hi all,

I am looking at nose nets for a horse with headshaking. He has a fairly itchy nose and seems to have a bit of hay fever at the moment.

I have had a look on ebay and found a couple different options:

One that fits snuggly, and would stop him being able to flick it up over his face (which he does when ever ridden in a loose fitting type one)

And a normal type (long enough to cover his nose properly, unlike the one I am using at the moment.

Any real world advice or experience with them?

I also use and like the Equilibrium nose net, it's reasonably 'stiff' and cleans up easily, but it does still fly up in stronger winds. I've also had good results with the Global Herbs shakefree formula (summer) and Pollenex. With these 3 combined I rarely get any symptoms even when the rape is in full flower etc.

Agree on both equlibrium net and pollenex, used both and now have no symptoms. I am able to use pollenex around a ride so night before and morning of ride too so not the twice per day recommended, this works for me. Will use from may next year as the was the worst time and before i started with the above treatment.
