noseband help needed

whats the best noseband for a horse which crosses its jaw???

have you tried a grackle?

grackle or combination noseband (see townfields saddlery catalogue) - its a combination between a drop, flash and grackle and worked wonders on a horse of mine who crossed his jaw something chronic.

The horse who opens his mouth and crosses the jaw, does so usually because the bit is too thick for him.

Drop noseband. Incidentally, Star's bit is a 14mm. and she crossed her jaw like mad to evade it. A drop noseband helped the situation and now we are back in a cavesson.

just got a new myler bit and its thinner espically because he's got quite a big tongue so it shouldn't be that. thanks 4 ur help.. will try a grackle i think.. or a drop.... hmmmm.
