Just after a bit of advice.
Got horse on loan to hunt and he's known for having very small nosebleeds out hunting - always after galloping a long way in deep going.
He was fine at the beginning of the season but now its so wet, the ground is quite holding. He has had 2 very minor bleeds (literally just a very tiny amount in his right nostril hunting with me). The last was on Sat and I think I pushed him a bit too hard up a steep hill. He has been bright as a button ever since.
He has been investigated by the vet who can't find any reason for it but say it is likely to just a burst capillary and not to worry too much about it.
I do though!!
Both times it has been a miniscule amount in his right nostril that stops almost immediately. The owner has told me not to bother having it investigated again.
Is there anything I can give him, supplement wise, to help him at all? Does anyone else have a horse that suffers like this?
