After searching for so long for a horse of my own I've now been offered various horses and ponies to ride
They are at the yard I had Fearn at.
3 of them are already there and one will be arriving in a couple of weeks. One of the ones that is already there is a mare who used to be at my old yard and I've known her since the day she arrived, I've also handled her regularly and shes such a lovely (chesnut arab ) mare. Her owner has just left school and will be going to work at NWEC soon as part of her college course so won't have as much time as she used to. For the first few weeks it will be lunging in return for chores, then it will be riding. Shes fairly quick to ride and my mates 15.3 welshie struggles to keep up with her (shes 14.2/3).
The other is a horse that I was offered on loan a while ago, his owner wanted to move him closer to home/work anyway so I recommended the yard I'm at now and she came to look at it last Wednesday, she liked it and will be moving him in a couple of weeks. I'll be helping her bring him back into work at first and I'll get to ride him at weekends to. Hes a 15.2 cob gelding that she brought from the gypsys and hes just
Theres also another pony that I can ride when his current rider isn't there. I'm not sure what breed he is but hes about 13.1 and is quite stocky
and I mentioned to my other mate that if she ever needed help with her gelding then I'd help her out and she said she might just take me up on that offer as shes got her GCSEs this year and shes hoping to get a part time job to get a bit of money
Here are some piccies of two of them:
And here are some professional piccies of them - I'll be riding Sonic, Splash (who I ride at the moment) and Tango (the smaller of the two bays). I'll get some piccies of the other horse when he arrives
