Not funny. I suppose 38 seconds and a soft fall was better than the hours of work the horse would have done in sand, if the man had managed to get on and stay on. The horse was far too small for him.

I imagine the horse had done a lot of work prior to this with someone else as equally unsuitable on it's poor back.

Poor thing it's like when you're abroad and see little donkeys giving large tourists rides. My heart bleeds for them.
