Lammy lady had x-rays last week and farrier told me today that unfortunatly the pedal bone has rotated horizontally in her foot aswell. Her normal pedal bone rotation isn't too bad. Right there is 5 degrees and the left there is 8 degrees however due to her being slightly pigeon toed he thinks during the last few weeks when she went lame again it was the laminae which has weakened and thus the pedal bone has rotated sideways.
He doesnt think it can be fixed however he has added some support to the inner parts of her heartbar and will see if that helps relieve some of the pain for her.
Everything was going so well too :\ you never know with laminitis where you are upto.
The vet and farrier have said its very unlikely she will be ridden again so shes now just my big old pet
Biscuits for everyone reading this.
