Not Equine Related - Anyone Been On A Overseas Mission Trip???

I am looking to go on a mission trip but they all seem to be religious trips - anyone been on a non religious trip?

Could you do something like VSO? Not sure what you mean by 'mission' because I always thought missionaries had a religious message to push.

There are loads of volunteer organisations that do aid work abroad I would imagine you'd find quite a few if you google them and many have no religious affiliations. Depending on what you want to do and where they propose to send you, make sure they are a legitimate, well organised outfit with proper insurance and help in an emergency.
