So my JR is just getting about trustworthy out now left out while i have a bath. Had an ill daughter all weekend so ran the bath to relax a little before bedtime as been up for 2 nights with her and shes fianlly sleeping.
Anyway been a JR hes very inquisitive.
So i settled in my bath with a magazine. Kept seeing his head pop through the gap in the door then running , its left open so i can hear if hes doing anything drastic in the other room.;)

Im in a flat and all the floor is laminate. Anyway so i hear him galloping up the all way door flies open and the next thing i have a puppy throwing himself at me in the bath!!!! Magazine straight to the bottem and him straight under!!!:D:eek: I dont know who was more shocked him or me!!!!

Hes now snuggled on my lap wrapped in a towel smelling much better than he did before!!!!:)

Silly pup!!!:D

hahaha! my little JRT did that when she was little too, although misjudged her jump and was straddling the side of the bath before falling in headfirst!

I had to make sure the door was well closed from then on, as she tended to do it every single time i had a bath!

Now she's grown up, she has decided she doesnt like baths any more, however i had a bath the other night, and after rinsing my hair in the water, i was greeted by this little face!

My other dog, the lurcher, wont enter the bathroom under any circumstances, just incase she has to have a bath - she sits and shakes in the lounge until I leave the bathroom!

Oh and thats not scum on the side of the bath - its all chipped!!

ahh your all just adding to my good mood this morning :) My Lola sometimes wanders in on bath time and just sticks her nose in and snaps at the bubbles! My 10 month old thinks its hilarious!! She'd prob jump in if she got the chance to though!

Haha yes glad he is just a jr the scratch marks from him are bad enough!!! I don't think he'll be doing it again in a hurry was a bit shocked when he ended up under the water!!!! Did make me laugh a lot he launched himself from 2 foot away and he's only tiny!! Shame I didn't have a camera at the ready!!!!

Our old terrier x never grew out of it - you even had to lock her out (she could open a shut but not locked door) if you were in the shower otherwise she'd barge in and open the door to get in the cubicle with you

I can't have a bath without my three joining in Cyrus in doorway loco spread eagled in middle of floor and little Diablo front laws in the water trying to scrabble his back legs over the side and in, he gets the water once I'm done, loves sticking his head under and blowing bubbles then watching water go down the drain

Try an Old English Sheepdog who loves baths!!!!! He hasnt quite understood dogs not allowed upstairs rule (I should really put a gate up) I have to make sure the door is shut otherwise OES in there with me!!

My boy fell in a pond as a pup so has a serious aversion to being bathed/hosed off. He just lies just outside the bathroom door and if anyone tries to talk to me he tells them off! Nice peaceful bathtimes in this house :D

They are funny arent they! Alfie springer likes to rest his nose on the edge of the bath whilst I shower and catch the drops that splash off the shower screen. The other two wont come anywhere near in case they get bathed!

Betsy has done this.... A lot! My bathtimes are always closely supervised (its creepy)
She stands with her front legs on the rim and tries to lick me or drink the bathwater. She paws at any bubbles like a toy and will jump in if at any point I actually relax and stop giver her the 'don't you dare' stare!
Bloody dogs!

It was funny hes never shown any interest in the bath before, and he was acting petrified he just kept popping his head round. Then all of a sudden he came galloping in and lept from 2 foot away, when he relised it was water he tried to stop but was already mid flight!!!! I was cackling laughing and trying not to get scratched. Very pleased hes only little though thankfully would not have wanted a massive doggy flying with me at that!!!! Hes avoided the bath room at all costs now though so dont think hell be in a hurry to do that again!!! So wish i had a camara though!!!!
Yer they like to make you laugh. He licked up sugar from my daughters jelly tot sweets and oh god hes wild at the minute!!!!!:(:D Oooops!!

Oh dear. Some of these made me LOL.

Sam will howl if I go for a bath and lock the door. I now leave the door unlocked, but close it hoping he'll settle in the living room. But nope, so far he has everytime barged through the door and come over with his ball (almost managing to throw it in my bath one night) and wanting me to play with him.
He does eventually curl up beside the bath although he got a row last time when he decided to drink my nice hot water.
Getting out of the bath can be a pain as he has selective hearing and prefers for me to step OVER him when getting out of the bath. A few prods and he does reluctantly get up and move.

OMG, I hope he never tries to clamber into the bath :eek
