Not horsey, but have you seen the full moon tonight?

I have just seen it, it's really bright and the clouds here it looks like a painting as they have an outline. Hard to explain but it looks great lol xx

It is a gorgeous moon. Plus, (if its clear enough where you are) look to the lower left for an unusually bright - and non twinkling - 'star'; that's actually Jupiter. (on top of that, if its clear and you have a decent pair of binoculars, have a look. You should be able to see the disc of the planet, then depending on the strength of your lenses possibly the big red spot or one of the Galilean moons).

I've just gone to the window for a look, poked my head through the curtains only for my cat to start talking to me, I didn't know she was there, scared the poop out of me!!!! :D

Aw! It's now a bit cloudy so can't see, but thanks - I love to know that sort of thing :o

PMSL Proctor! Just the sort of thing my mogs would do!

I noticed it, very bright and beautiful, didn't realise it was a harvest moon though. Gonna go meet my daughter at the yard shortly as it is a bit colder than I thought so we're going to rug her mare, the moon will be even more beautiful there.

My step dad and me just went out looking at it, then started moaning as we have no binoculars lol xx

That is one thing I love about Autumn, beautiful Harvest moons. They take my breath away and I can be often found with a window wide open and a glass of wine just taking it all in, especially on a quiet night and with the company of my dogs at my side.

Its a cracker isn't it! I just came in from checking the horse and had to stop and look and (am embarrassed to admit this) bowed to it, as bowing to a full moon is supposed to bring luck. I think my old mare needs all the help she can get so I'm not taking any chances!

Hmmm, actually tell a lie, Jupiter is to the lower right of the Moon. That'll teach me to give astro advice when tiddly!

It is amazing the extra detail you can see with a fairly standard pair of binoculars (or telescope....), even the extra detail on the Moon is pretty impressive.

Ha, full moon on my birthday!! (yep its today), and its stormy...and I was born in a storm...
Sorry guys :/ Think i may have caused the second coming!
(excuse the typing, only just got back in, was my 18th afterall ;) )
