Having aborted my trip to work as no trains or buses available and no chance of getting to work via the roads either I returned home. I heard a very faint 'help' from my 92 year old neighbour. I shot round to find she had slipped on ice in her garden and had been lying unable to move for over half an hour on icy concrete. She had broken her hip.
I went with her to hospital where they confirmed our fears.
So please sned healing vibes to Edi in the QEQM!!
