Not horsey but HELP needed to insure inheritance?!!!

Not in anyway horse related at all but I really need some help and ideas from you!!

It's my parents ruby wedding anniversary in August. I've left it too late to organise a big party but I'd like to do something for them to celebrate.

I am totally stuck for ideas and want to do something other than a meal out but can't think of anything at all to do!!

I'd need to include my sister and her two young children too.
Has any one got any suggestions at all?????

Yes, a nice family day out with a lovely lunch which will not be hard to organise for a few people.

A steam train trip - you can get a meal on board, there's usually an attraction to visit the other end too.

For my parents Golden Wedding we had a big family bowling tournament followed by a meal.

Are funds limited or generous? My brother and I clubbed together for our parents silver anniversary to send them to Paris for a 4 night break & pre-booked a couple of trips like lunch on the Seine in a glass topped boat & a night at the Folies Bergeres. It didn't actually cost a fortune as mid-week.

Could you and your sister do something along these lines? There are loads of fun short breaks in the UK for families as well.
We booked in advance for the trip to be in the spring so they had something to look foward to (their anniversary is 24th Dec !!)
