Hi All,

I know this isn't really the place for this, but I know a few of your live fairly close to me and thought you might appreciate a warning...

Over the weekend there have been several attempts (luckily all failed!) to steal cars in the Sutton St Edmund/St James area. Both nights it has been kids in the early hours of the morning. They had a go at my neighbours car last night and when they failed, decided keying mine was more fun... Work are going to be thrilled when I go in tomorrow!!!

Might just be worth being a bit extra careful with locking up etc..?

If they'd woken me at 3am, which was apparently when they were here they would have found somebody very scary indeed!!!!

Stupid thing is they probably had to drive down here in the first place (Our village is too small even for a shop/pub so I doubt they are really local!)

Surely if they have transport they can find something more exciting to do!?... Grrrr...!!!

Rat kids are all the same stick on moustaches and nothing else better to do, I'll (hopefully) be moving to Mablethorpe, my eyes are already beady even now at current house.

Thanks for the warning - definitely very close to you though cars are all under security and in front of bedroom so they might see very irate OH if they try here

Thanks for the warning, couldnt bear to lose anything else at the moment.

On seconds thoughts, if I tied an ex to the gatepost do you think they may remove him???
