Not Horsey - Dog Hayfever can I give Piriton

Can anyone tell me if its ok to give my dog piriton. someone i spoke to this am said she gave hers half a tablet and I'm a bit nervous about it.

She is a small sprocker if you need to know her size before telling me!

One of the ones I dog sit is a small patterdale and he has one a day for his allergies.

My JRT has 1/2 a tablet a day to keep her grass allergy at bay

Mine has a type of cancer where the tumours swell and flood his body with histamine. The vets told me I could use Piriton for this too if h I found myself without his usual medication.

Good old piriton!!!!!!!!!!! Check dosage with your vet though.
