Not horsey .................

An observation, and a sincere question:

An increasing number of threads in the Lounge announce that they are 'not horsey', even though the New Lounge 2 is for 'general equestrian posts'. The Soapbox is for 'non horsey news and views'.

I wonder why people don't want to post in Soapbox

I feel that there are members who don't even visit Soapbox, and prefer to stay in the Lounge. Is this the case? And if so, I would love to know why

I was just thinking the same myself, Ruscara! Perhaps some people don't realise that the Soapbox exists being hidden at the bottom of the forum, or perhaps the title 'Soapbox' doesn't make it obvious what its purpose is!

I rarely post in Soapbox, as TBH most of the stuff I ask is horsey questions.

I've always wondered the same thing! But I do spend a lot of time in SB anyway!

I use 'Active Topics' so I see what is posted everywhere. I too wonder why people don't post in Soapbox (which is for 'non horsey' things). Although I think sometimes SB can be a wee bit intimidating, especially for younger members (who have Common Room anyway!!)
