Today we finished our first year at tech so we were having a party and as we're doing an animal management course we were allowed to bring our dogs in

So I brought Midget as she is so chilled out and loves everyone.

Got there and another girls dog was lying down and Midget went to say hello (as dogs do) said dog then went for my little blondie. And a couple of other dogs.

The owner (who I don't like anyway

) was like 'oh, she's never done that before' and then went and pulled a muzzle out of her bag and put it on the dog.

Now, is it just me or why would you be randomly carrying a muzzle in your bag if your dog had never went for another dog before?

It went from her saying she has never done that before, then to her only going for black dogs to which I helpfully pointed out Midget is yellow!

Silly bitch should have left the damn thing at home!

It really annoys me when people take dogs to things that the dog really will not find comfortable or enjoy being in that situation!

For example I have a nervous aggressive dog who I would never dream of taking somewhere busy, eg. we were at the Devon County show last month, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind to entertain the idea of taking her! (although I saw several dogs that definitely couldn't cope with that environment) However, the attention loving spaniel thought it was the best treat ever, getting stroked all day! and meeting hundreds of dogs

It always surprises me that people don't seem to think of their dog's enjoyment or others likely experience with their dog (as in your case getting snapped at

If she has a muzzle in her bag............she has a dog that attacks.......simple

Hope your dog is ok

That's dreadful, especially for someone doing an animal management course! You'd expect her to know better. My dog Leah gets very stressed and nervous in strange situations, so even though I really wish I could take her everywhere with me, I usually have to leave her at home. Then again, I'm going to attempt to take her to a show next weekend - I will be prepared to take her home straight away if she starts showing any signs of stress though!
