Fais pas chier!
I think I quite like this mix: https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classi...pringer-pups-stockton-on-tees/?pmg_source=all
I love that the photo is being used as a selling pointI’m forever looking at Keeshond puppies, but the picture of mum with pups is very off-putting. Saying that, I wasn’t impressed at the timidity of my bil’s pup’s dam and he is nothing like her. I hope she was just having a protective mum moment.

I’ve never seen such a photo being used. I’m somewhat amazed that they used it. Great selling point!I love that the photo is being used as a selling point
Reckon my husband might divorce me!Those clumber crosses are 4 months old on the ad… reckon you could knock the price down again…
Mitch is very vocal, the noise he makes when my OH comes home is like nothing I’ve ever heard!Interestingly, we had an accidental clumber x springer mating a few years ago. Don’t even ask! The litter were fab, less insane/busy than the working springer sire and marginally less daft than the clumber. She found the whole thing tiresome and ran and hid from the puppies at every opportunity. Some of them are working and the others are much loved pets…. They are all quite vocal like the clumber, and seem to know each other
I bet the ones left are those with white faces. Those clumber crosses are 4 months old on the ad… reckon you could knock the price down again…
Can I ask why? I actually like the white faced ones. Is there a genetic problem/reason?I bet the ones left are those with white faces.
There's a stunning jrt up the road from me, he has a half white, half brown face, split exactly down the middle. He's gorgeous! My JRT is symmetrically marked with white muzzle but brown ears and brown forehead divided by the white extending up between her eyes. I think she is lovely but I also love the look of a couple of those white faced ones.
Possibly because they often have pink skin round their eyes. I personally don't like that. My girl has a half white face but has black 'eyeliner' round the eye on her white side. Pink skin seems to go with weepy eyes. Can I ask why? I actually like the white faced ones. Is there a genetic problem/reason?
Spaniel, obviously!I’m a long way off being able to have a second dog (both financially and I’d want madam to be much more established in her training) but that doesn’t stop me from window shopping. Though I have the same Lab vs Spaniel dilemma I had before I got her.
My OH had the most gorgeous split face border collie years ago. I tend to mostly prefer symmetrical markings but do love a split face too. There's a stunning jrt up the road from me, he has a half white, half brown face, split exactly down the middle. He's gorgeous!
I always think the pinkish skin around the eyes on white faces is a bit off putting. I remember thinking that about our white headed beardie x border when she was wee, but she’s the most attractive looking little dog as an adult, so I’m not sure it would put me off the same in future.Possibly because they often have pink skin round their eyes. I personally don't like that. My girl has a half white face but has black 'eyeliner' round the eye on her white side. Pink skin seems to go with weepy eyes.
I could be totally wrong about which are left of course.
I chose Bear based on his big white stripe, but wouldn’t want a white face, for me, it’s not ‘springer’, imo. Equally, I don’t want a block colour on a head. It’s very superficial and totally unrelated to it being a good worker/pet dog, I imagine. No horse is a bad colour, same for dogs, but I’m quite partial to the stripe. I’ve been put off springers that have white on their ears, too! I have no idea if genetically it’s an issue, but maybe some people link it to deafness?
She does look pretty angry doesn't sheI’m forever looking at Keeshond puppies, but the picture of mum with pups is very off-putting. Saying that, I wasn’t impressed at the timidity of my bil’s pup’s dam and he is nothing like her. I hope she was just having a protective mum moment.

Like I said, but some people (not me) might link it to deafness. For me, it isn’t aesthetically pleasing. No link to markings/face colour in Springers (or Cockers) and any hearing loss. I mostly have completely dark with very minimal stripe type markings in my lines but have had everything from bald faced to no markings.
