We can't hack at weekend's at the moment (too many bikers using the local roads as a cut through) so we have a quick play in the field or do groundwork. Today I decided on a play.

After we did some serious stuff I got OH to put us some trotting poles down and since it was easy peasy for such a clever coblet OH decided to raise one of the poles and see what he thought. Once he worked out what to do with his legs this was the result...

For a 4yo who has done very little bar hack and who has had a stop start education and a scaredy cat who hasn't totally got their confidence back after a broken back I think we did ok
